Since 2014 GP Care Packages has been offering care packages and blankets to those in need or homeless. Since the beginning, we have been able to bless up to 300+ individuals at each event. The motive came from our founder's and some of our donors who have experienced homelessness as well. We strive to reach out and help those in our community. We're all God's People
Having experienced homelessness and addiction struggles first hand, founder Eloise Parker has built a life around the faith, family & friends who empowered her to move forward in life. Through her promise to our Father and his son Jesus Christ, Eloise found her life's calling by starting GP Care Packages & Blankets of Love in 2014 with one simple mission: to give back to others and remind them that they are loved and not forgotten.
A community leader & organizer who always fights for the vulnerable population of LA county and Long Beach, Araceli is a fierce community champion through her work with several organizations that have always focused on public service. Serving the community since 12, Araceli followed in her parent's footsteps who fed the hungry and clothed the cold in Mexico. While working for the City of Long Beach, she was connected to Eloise through a phone call for a service request. Eloise called back to return gratitude and extend Araceli an invitation for the 2020 Christmas Giveaway. "As she told me what was that about, I fell in love with the action she was working on. Immediately I told her I wanted to be a part of it. I’m here since then”
Thank you to all local media outlets who have provided coverage of our mission. Through awareness of our cause, we can continue to reach more of God's People with care packages and blankets of love.
